Tootsie Gallery Cafe
Begin your Heritage and Arts escape in the Yass Valley with a visit to Tootsie Gallery Cafe. Tootsie’s building was originally the first service station between Sydney and Melbourne, known as the Hume Service Station. The authentic restoration of this beautiful 1937 art deco building, has been a labour of love for the new owners.
Tootsie Gallery Cafe provides a friendly and funky atmosphere with awesome coffee and cakes. The studio has been created to suit handcrafted works of art created by artists and artisans. It provides unique exhibition spaces, and a sculpture garden for artists and art lovers of many mediums to present their work and their passion to the public. The restored workshop space is also available for hire.

Peter Minson Gallery
Peter Minson is a third-generation glassblower located in the quiet village of Binalong. Unique products such as glasses, teapots, flowers, and necklaces can be admired and purchased.
Peter considers himself lucky and has followed a path of scientific glassblowing through functional artwork. At his Binalong workshop, Peter also teaches glassblowing to those who want to experience the magic of his everyday world.

Yass Town Drive
Maximize your Heritage and Arts experience in the Yass Valley by following your copy of the Yass Town Drive map and enjoy a detour through the outskirts of the historic township.
Discover the graves of famous explorers and pioneers; find buildings that are almost two hundred years old and enjoy the beautiful views from the highest point in Yass. You may even find a backroad out of town that is only used by locals!
