Bobbara Hill walk offers up one of the best countryside views the Yass Valley has to offer. The walk up is 1.5km and can be steep at times however once you reach the summit those unbeatable scenes of the canola fields make it so worth it and I suppose the BBQ and drinks that are waiting for you at the top add an extra incentive as well!

Only open to the public once a year don’t be the only one to miss it! Entry on the day is via a Donation to Binalong P&C Association to support the amazing Binalong Public School. So, what are you waiting for? Grab your friends, lace up and get yourselves down to Binalong on Sunday the 13^th of September between 9am and 1pm to soak up some fresh air.

Join the Craic in Yass! From the 18^th to the 20^th of September Yass comes alive. Be transformed by the sights and sounds of Irish and Celtic culture with music, dance, poetry, markets and workshops. There’s no better place to experience this than in Yass! Spilling with an abundance of rich Celtic history, Yass makes an ideal location to celebrate tradition, community and connection with the bonus and convenience of most events being within short walking distance of each other.

So don’t miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in Celtic history, language and customs whether it’s by attending one of their fantastic workshops or by going to a 2 hour guided Cemetery tour run by Yass Valley History Centre in which you’ll hear some fantastic stories and learn about some of the most extraordinary lives and colourful characters this town has to offer, every single event you attend at this festival will undoubtably be great craic!

Celebrating its 20^th year the Murrumbateman Moving Feast is a must do for food and wine lovers everywhere. From Saturday the 3^rd of October to Sunday the 4^th of October this is your chance to experience Yass Valley’s cool climate wines like never before. Each winemaker harnesses their creativity in perfectly pairing a signature dish to their signature pick wine and of course there’s always room for dessert, right? Most venues will also be offering their signature dessert and dessert wine pairing let alone the fact that Murrumbateman Chocolate Co will be opening its doors to the public to serve a range of limited-edition cakes with your choice of ice cream soda or iced chocolate.

The price for each dish includes your glass of wine; Savoury being $30 each and Sweet being $25 each. Opening times vary for each venue but are located at Makers of Murrumbateman | Wineries, Food & Local Experiences along with the weekend’s menu and a map highlighting each venue for your best route.
