Riverbank Park

Located in the Yass Township, Riverbank Park is a tranquil park set on the banks of the Yass River. Choose between laying a picnic rug out on the lush grass or setting up on one of the many picnic tables. Some facilities available include a barbeque, public toilets, and play equipment for the kids to run amuck.

Some beautiful wildlife can also be seen including ducks, swans, and birds.

Coronation Park

At Coronation Park, children can enjoy the large curly slippery dip or an ice cream from the Visitor Information Centre plus the other amusements in the park, all while you cook a meal on the free gas barbecue. There is plenty of shade and picnic tables available and lush green grass to throw a blanket on and just relax under the trees.

Wee Jasper Reserves

Follow the Tourist Drive 7 down and discover the Wee Jasper Reserves! Wee Jasper is made up of 4 primitive reserves and toilets, water, hot showers, barbecues and picnic tables are provided in most of the reserves. There are numerous walks taking from a few hours to several days. Or you could just sit, relax, read a book or throw in a line.

Banjo Paterson Park

Banjo Paterson Park is a quaint little park situated just off of the main street of Yass. This park has toilet facilities, picnic tables, lush grass, and a great playground for the kids! At the entrance of the park, bust commemorates Banjo Paterson who lived in the Yass district as a boy.
