Celebrated as one of the best wineries in Australia, Clonakilla is a small, family business dedicated to producing distinctive, handcrafted Canberra region wines.

Clonakilla is a pioneer of the Canberra District wine region, crafting wine in our Murrumbateman winery since 1971.

Our cellar door has long been a must-visit destination for enjoying internationally renowned wine when visiting Canberra.

Sit by the fire in a warm and intimate setting, chat around the bar or gather with friends on our outdoor patio and take in the views of our vineyards.

The Kirk family, who founded and own Clonakilla, warmly welcomes you to try the estate-grown wines. Our Langton’s classified Clonakilla Shiraz Viognier, is recognised as the benchmark cool-climate Shiraz Viognier in Australia.

In addition we have many other wines to discover including our O’Riada Shiraz, Viognier, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and of course, Riesling.

Clonakilla welcomes groups of up to eight people. If your party is larger, please call and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. A tasting fee applies to larger groups which will be refunded on purchase of wine.
