For hundreds of years in Australia, ‘the pub’ is the hub of most country towns – where locals meet for a chat over a schooner! There is something special about visiting an old country pub that can connect you to simpler, old-fashioned times when horses and carriages would have walked the streets and when the likes of Banjo Paterson and Hamilton Hume resided in the Yass Valley.
Get out and about this summer and pay a visit to one of our historic country pubs to enjoy an ice-cold beer and a homely pub meal!
