Meet Mac the Clydesdale Horse

 The whole family will love Mac, the resident Clydesdale horse over at the Rollonin Cafe. As well as Mac, you will be able to meet many other animals including a peacock, Daisy the cow and many more! After meeting all the animals, why not head into the cafe and enjoy delicious food served with a smile.

 

 

Underground Adventure Awaits

Underground adventure awaits at Carey’s Caves in Wee Jasper. Here you will find a wealth of spectacular limestone and cave formations. Enjoy a fun and interactive geology lesson outside of the classroom! At the end of the tour, the children can pick up and feel various crystals and rocks.

 

 

 

Camping Paradise

The Wee Jasper Reserves are a camping paradise with 5 beautiful camping reserves to choose from. The kids can have fun playing in the Goodradigbee River, whether that is skimming rocks, fishing, kayaking or just having a refreshing swim! Pack your hiking boots and take the family on a bush walk along the river?

 

Explore the Trains

Experience the Yass Railway Museum in all it’s historical glory! Budding train enthusiasts will love the model train display and will get to explore the original station building (c1891) that the museum is housed in.

 

Arts & Crafts at Yass Library

This school holidays, the Yass Library are hosting a school holiday program jam packed with fun and hands on arts and crafts activities. From making their own sock puppet to making glitter globes, the kids will be sure to have fun!

 

Foodies heaven

Why not take the kids out to Four Winds Vineyard to indulge in a delicious wood-fired pizza? Fill the kids bellies while soaking up the fresh country air and summer sun! Adults can put together a platter of delicious produce as well as a glass of wine of your choosing. Why not then head out to Robyn Rowe for a sweet treat? You can’t go wrong with a little bit of chocolate to end a great day!
