Agnolotti at Clementine

Clementine

With it’s white picket fence and sun drenched front garden, Clementine is made for romance. Owner-chef Adam Bantock is passionate about country hospitality and his menu changes weekly based on produce that is sourced locally as much as possible. The wine list is also entirely local, and why not, with so many topnotch wineries right at his door step. Housed in a renovated country cottage, Clementine is perfect for a long lazy lunch out on the sunny front porch or better still, settle in a cosy nook inside and you will want to stay forever. Start with the masterfully presented agnolotti filled with duck, orange caramel, tarragon and parmesan and end with a luscious burnt honey and peach parfait with honeycomb and roasted peach. Perfect for sharing with your significant other.

Grazing

Grazing is the epitome of rural charm and hearty country fare with a touch of elegance. Chef Kurt Neumann has embraced the philosophy of cooking that respects fresh, home grown produce and his menu is seasonal and traditional yet refined. The location within the 150 year old historic Royal Hotel, the beautifully appointed timeworn dining rooms and the crackle of the open fire during the cooler months makes Grazing a place like no other for old world romantic charm. Tempt your taste buds with a robust local rump of lamb with sticky glazed rib, kohlrabi, artichoke, cauliflower and eggplant washed down with a local Shiraz. Then settle in to a romantic night by the fire while the chocolate soufflé works its magic.
