Sporting and Recreation
Yass Valley has some of the best sporting and recreation facilities in the region and is home to the Australia's largest Touch Football round robin competition every January.
For every sport, Yass Valley has the location or facility.
Some of our regular clubs include;
Rugby League, Rugby union, Aussie Rules, Netball, Tennis, Soccer, Touch Football, Pony Club, Horse riding, Swimming, Fishing, Water Sports, Paragliding, Gymnastics, squash, Bowling, Cricket and of course,Golf.
There is something for everyone, of every age and skill level. Friendly casual games or serious competitions.
Another great way to excercise in the Yass Valley is to walk the Spirit of Discovery, Hume & Hovell Walking Track. There are short or long suggested walks along the track that you can choose from. All with spectacular scenery, wildlife, adventure and historical significance!
